Easy Peach Walnut Cake Recipe

This summer enjoy sweet, juicy peaches with a moist cake.  That is what we do each summer.  We enjoy picking our peaches and making this delicious peach cake. When we run our of fresh peaches, we head on over to a farmer’s market or grocery store to buy peaches for this cake too.


  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups fresh peaches – peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 
Kitchen Utensils

  • measuring cup
  • measuring spoon
  • large mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • whisk
  • wooden spoon
  • 9×12 inch pan

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (or 190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9×12 inch pan.  
  2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, oil, flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, peaches and walnuts. 
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour into prepared 9×12 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees F (or 190 degrees C) for 50-55 minutes or until done.
  5. Optional: Add extra slices of peaches and walnuts on top of cake
  6. Pour into greased and floured 9×12 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees F (or 190 degrees C) for 50-55 minutes or until 


  7. Let the cake cool down before slicing.

  8. Serve the cake plain or with whipped cream.
